Research (3 T.V shows)
Waterloo road-
In Waterloo road there is music playing in the background of the opening scene which fits in with the target audience which is mostly teenagers also the camera movement are closeups and lots of crane shots from high to show the full view of the setting and where to show is based.
They made the kids look like as if they didn't because about school since there cloths are untucked and are doing things they are not meant to do during school hours trying to bring a negative feel to teenagers as if they are dangerous and do bad things ALL the time. Also after the 2 minutes has gone from the opening of Waterloo road slowly fades from the scene to the sky where there is not objects then shows the title of the program.
Characters are wearing non uniform to show that the students don't like school and don't care about it. The camera does a zoom out at the start of the clip from one scene to show the next. Since Waterloo rad is based around a teenage audience you would expect to hear allot of kids shouting and talking through the atmosphere in school. Also the thing i realised in the opening scene of Waterloo road it appears to show different clips of kids doing different things trying to show that not ALL teenagers are the same and they do different things depending on there life style.
The target audience is mainly towards a teenage audience for many reasons, the programme is based in a school which can relate to high school kids also during the programme it has scenes where they give you tips on how to deal with teenage problems which can be useful with teenagers.
In the opening scene of Waterloo road kids are scene as bad and vandalising school property showing they have no choice to be there and they don't want to be in school. Some characters are on phones and giving each other drugs showing that teenagers are evil and bad. The opening scene of Waterloo road shows a negative feel towards teenagers.
Fresh prince of bel air-
NCIS-
N- Fresh prince is about a kid called Will who gets in a fight and his mom decides to send him to live with his cousins in bel air and as he lives there he causes mischief which creates the episodes for the programme.
C- The characters in the programme act like normal people who get in to trouble allot which can relate to people who don't do good and people who cause trouble. The characters act like gangsters and popularity in school which is suitable to people who are popular and can relate to popular students in school and people who want to be in the process of being popular.
I. Normally the most popular things in the programme to wear was teenage cloths such as genes also bling such as gold and lots of jewelry showing that he is rich and acts like a gangsta.
S. Most of the setting of the film is based in there house and in school. But most of the time its all around there country when it comes to special series.
Camera work-
When it comes to the next scene when something new has happened a short tune comes on to make the next scene become interesting. As you can see in this clip the start starts off with sound to start the next scene : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDi-AQITr7Y
When Fresh prince starts there is a theme song to start the programme which is kind of a rap which matches its target audience and there lifestyle/the way they live. The mise-en-scene is normally very colourful to represents peace which was a big event in America in those times.
Target audience-
The target audience is for teenagers cause they have more experience in the events that occur in the programme such as high school and acting really cool and misbehaving most of the time to get peoples attention.
Representation:
The representation of young people is both good and bad towards the programme cause its showing different teenagers doing different things which can show that not all teenagers are not the same and all are different.

N- Eastenders E20 is about people who live on Albert square and is about the peoples lives and what happens there is quiet good and bad and shows you different events that are happening in the square and that's what its all about and the programme repeats it over and over again bringing new characters to create a different story line.
C- The characters in the programme are mostly teenagers between the ages 15- 18 but have a bit of the adults to create the programme mixed. The teenagers are normally doing bad/negative things to the environment.
I- Characters are normally out drinking and smoking doing bad things to show negativity towards teenagers.
S- Eastenders E20 is setted in school, homes, pubs and at work to show different people lives and to create a difference between them.
Camera work:
When there is a chase happening there are lots of cranes shots to show the full chase from up high but most of the camera movement is on the ground and ALWAYS show the characters face when either walking or talking. There is never any music in the background unless they are in the pub because the programme is about real life issues.
Target audience:
The target audience of E20 is a teenage audience cause they have lots of things in the programme that can relate to them such as drugs, smoking and theft.
Representation:
The representation of young people in E20 is a negative representation trying to show that all teenagers are to grow up and do bad things in the future and will be having drugs and smoking out on the streets trying to vandalise there home and community.
