Strengths- Inside the magazine it has a feedback section on where you can have your say.It also has gigs on different days to keep the fans of the bands up to date. Has advertisements of big events that are different but can keep the audience interested.
Weaknesses- The magazine says 'For more information to access all areas go on the Kerrang website' also not all of the magazine's come with a free CD and hasn't got any competition to interact with the audience and doesn't have allot on the contents page.
Opportunities- You can buy tickets for TNA/wrestling and you can apply to win tickets for concerts and music gigs.
Threats- Not all will be aware of the unknown cover stars and may provoke them as if they don't know Kerrangs taste in music artists. Also people would like to attend in competitions and may get less magazine's brought.

Kerrang Music website analysis of SWOT
Here is the website to 'One of the best selling music magazine'
Strengths- The website has audio and videos, also the website has lots of adverts running on both the top and on the right hand side of the page to do with the genre of their magazine which is music they have lots of rock and roll colors to link in with the type of music and is very glossy and colorful. They have lots of information with links encase if anyone want's to look in to the subject also they have word links on the top for different contents they have on the website. You can also get in touch with them through social networking sites.
Weaknesses- More information on the main we page to show what your web site is all about and the main theme of today's magazine title meaning the main subject your magazine and website and concentrating on. They haven't got a sign in bar, this is very useful t show how many people want to access different areas of the webpage and really want to learn more, also it shows how many people are in your community instead of having random people coming on to the site just to see one certain subject and never return back to the site.
Opportunities- You can subscribe for the magazine and get a free offer when you subscribe which on this site it appears to be get a rucksack free when you subscribe for the magazine. Also if you don't want to buy the magazine but will miss the offers such as a free CD of Kerrang you can download it on iTunes so that you are not missing out on anything for the magazine.
Threats- People may only go on the site for one particular subject whether it is a role model or is fan. Also teenagers tend not to buy things with there money which maybe the target audience for music websites this shows that teenagers wont spend there money on the magazine whereas they can get all the content for free on the internet which is what lots of teenagers spend there free time on the internet.

Research (3 T.V shows)
Waterloo road-
In Waterloo road there is music playing in the background of the opening scene which fits in with the target audience which is mostly teenagers also the camera movement are closeups and lots of crane shots from high to show the full view of the setting and where to show is based.
They made the kids look like as if they didn't because about school since there cloths are untucked and are doing things they are not meant to do during school hours trying to bring a negative feel to teenagers as if they are dangerous and do bad things ALL the time. Also after the 2 minutes has gone from the opening of Waterloo road slowly fades from the scene to the sky where there is not objects then shows the title of the program.
Characters are wearing non uniform to show that the students don't like school and don't care about it. The camera does a zoom out at the start of the clip from one scene to show the next. Since Waterloo rad is based around a teenage audience you would expect to hear allot of kids shouting and talking through the atmosphere in school. Also the thing i realised in the opening scene of Waterloo road it appears to show different clips of kids doing different things trying to show that not ALL teenagers are the same and they do different things depending on there life style.
The target audience is mainly towards a teenage audience for many reasons, the programme is based in a school which can relate to high school kids also during the programme it has scenes where they give you tips on how to deal with teenage problems which can be useful with teenagers.
In the opening scene of Waterloo road kids are scene as bad and vandalising school property showing they have no choice to be there and they don't want to be in school. Some characters are on phones and giving each other drugs showing that teenagers are evil and bad. The opening scene of Waterloo road shows a negative feel towards teenagers.
Fresh prince of bel air-
NCIS-
N- Fresh prince is about a kid called Will who gets in a fight and his mom decides to send him to live with his cousins in bel air and as he lives there he causes mischief which creates the episodes for the programme.
C- The characters in the programme act like normal people who get in to trouble allot which can relate to people who don't do good and people who cause trouble. The characters act like gangsters and popularity in school which is suitable to people who are popular and can relate to popular students in school and people who want to be in the process of being popular.
I. Normally the most popular things in the programme to wear was teenage cloths such as genes also bling such as gold and lots of jewelry showing that he is rich and acts like a gangsta.
S. Most of the setting of the film is based in there house and in school. But most of the time its all around there country when it comes to special series.
Camera work-
When it comes to the next scene when something new has happened a short tune comes on to make the next scene become interesting. As you can see in this clip the start starts off with sound to start the next scene : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDi-AQITr7Y
When Fresh prince starts there is a theme song to start the programme which is kind of a rap which matches its target audience and there lifestyle/the way they live. The mise-en-scene is normally very colourful to represents peace which was a big event in America in those times.
Target audience-
The target audience is for teenagers cause they have more experience in the events that occur in the programme such as high school and acting really cool and misbehaving most of the time to get peoples attention.
Representation:
The representation of young people is both good and bad towards the programme cause its showing different teenagers doing different things which can show that not all teenagers are not the same and all are different.
clip 5-?
Eastenders E20:
NCIS-
N- Eastenders E20 is about people who live on Albert square and is about the peoples lives and what happens there is quiet good and bad and shows you different events that are happening in the square and that's what its all about and the programme repeats it over and over again bringing new characters to create a different story line.
C- The characters in the programme are mostly teenagers between the ages 15- 18 but have a bit of the adults to create the programme mixed. The teenagers are normally doing bad/negative things to the environment.
I- Characters are normally out drinking and smoking doing bad things to show negativity towards teenagers.
S- Eastenders E20 is setted in school, homes, pubs and at work to show different people lives and to create a difference between them.
Camera work:
When there is a chase happening there are lots of cranes shots to show the full chase from up high but most of the camera movement is on the ground and ALWAYS show the characters face when either walking or talking. There is never any music in the background unless they are in the pub because the programme is about real life issues.
Target audience:
The target audience of E20 is a teenage audience cause they have lots of things in the programme that can relate to them such as drugs, smoking and theft.
Representation:
The representation of young people in E20 is a negative representation trying to show that all teenagers are to grow up and do bad things in the future and will be having drugs and smoking out on the streets trying to vandalise there home and community.

Existing product research
I have researched on Waterloo road series 1 episode 1.
Icrongoraphy:
Narrative:
- Hoods
- phones
- drugs
- weapons
Character:
- Characters are carrying phones.
- Characters are using weapons in school to damage school property.
- The characters in the scenes are mostly 16 and under since they are based in school.
Icrongoraphy:
- Since children have weopons you can tell that they are in a gang.
- People in shoodies giving eachother object may suggest they are giving each other drugs.
- School
- Classes
Initial task
Task two:
1. I have researched Waterloo roads opening scene which starts with a kid doing something bad. This can relate to teenagers as they are misbehaving during school hours and attend to get teachers attention. Also the key thing in the opening scene was music to match the lifestyle of the children which can relate to there background. It shows most of the students doing bad things such as with there phones out and giving each other money and holding weapons.
2. The target audience for this opening scene would be ages 15 to 18 since this is the kind of program that can relate to them in a way since they are the ages that do go to high school and may like to watch programs based on there life style which is teenagers.
3. Well I need to find out from different students what do they rather want to watch and sort of make a brief plan on what I can do to combine the different ideas to create one. Also this question air will help me see what people like to see instead of me making my own opening when no one will like it.
4. I was planning on doing for the half a day on doing the question air so that I have a clear thing to know what I am doing.

Production blog
1. I think that T.V production is better than making the film because you need to add the special effects for a film and need to add more harder things to the film after it is recorded such as making fire come out of someone hand. But with a T.V can relate to people more better cause it connects with the audience better than a film in my experience.
2. I have been picked to work with 'Mohammed' and me. We only have 2 people in the group because its more better to have everything layed out and we both have different roles to do through the T.V making of the teenage programme.
3. I hope to achieve at least a C or above since I have a creative mind and have good potential in getting good marks for this.
Research:
1. Waterloo road is a good example for the teenage program since the opening of our film will be based in school and Waterloo road is based around the school. Also I was thinking to have the eye to eye shot to show that the two characters are going to verse each other.
2. I think that the program is going to be based around teenagers aged 15 to 18 since the program would have fights in school and showing how to deal with teenage life such as relation ships, fights and gangs.
3. The costumes will be normal school uniform but a bit messy and casual meaning top button undone and shirts hanging down and trainers instead of school shoes. The cast will be Year 10 or 11 vs each other for a girl that belongs to the leader of the gang. The location will be based in school and the outside gates in case and y shots to be taken of kids going through the gates of the school to enter it. There wont be any props as yet but there may be a few but not allot.
4. I was planning to do an eye to eye shot showing the bad guy and the good guys as if they are going to start a fight. There wont be allot of speaking in the scenes since its just an opening but there will be kids taking in the background to show the school sort of feel also there will be kids shouting in the scenes.

6) Planning storyboard
Transitions and camera shots for film poster:
- For my paster the central image was a medium close up so that the consumers who see my film poster can see the horror through to the main image on the poster. I had to edit the light to shine on the central images face so that the audience can see the central image through the background/dark and cut it out of the picture to make it look really scary to the people looking at the poster.
- Since there was no font to create the production blurb I simply copied a blurb of an existing film and pasted it on to mine but I had to change a few bits cause the production blurb I copied was from a Disney film and needed to get rid of any Disney picture printed on the production blurb also I used opinions on viewers who have seen the movie on the poster so that people have an idea on what the film is about and if it is good or not. I may use 5 star rating but since I have quotations of peoples view on the film. I have also added a tag line to the poster 'Once you see him there's no turning back' this is a very unique and fighting tag line that the audience can relate to and can create an emotion making them want to watch the film.
- On the poster there wont be any main characters I just want to base the cover of the poster only on the killer cause it creates a bit of suspense and an emotion to the audience which will make them want to watch the film but the characters will be introduced in the film.
- In the trailer there will be allot of screaming since the theme of the film I am creating is a horror film. Also there will be kids talking through the woods as they try to in what made the noise outside there tent. there will be horror music playing in the background when a scary scene come out. the sound of the music will be a piano.
- The different locations my trailer will have will mainly have the scene of a class room cause the kids go on the field trip. also most of the trailer will be based in the wood/forest and a bit of it will be on the road cause the school is travelling on a bus.
here is the map of the entire forest that will be based in the woods-
